for the Second International Conference of JAPERM

会員各位におかれましては益々ご清祥のこととお慶び申し上げます。
さて、第2回日本医学哲学・倫理学会国際大会（大会長：瀬戸山晃一）は、神奈川大学みなとみらいキャンパス（横浜市）において、2025年9月14日（日、午後のみ）・9月15日の両日にわたって開催されます。
つきましては、以下の2つの形式について提案募集を行いますので、ご案内申し上げます：
A: 論文発表
A:論文発表 20分間の講演と5分間の質疑応答で構成されます。論文発表は、以下の3つのセッションのいずれかに振り分けられます。
セッション1：終末期医療、医療的な死の幇助
セッション2：研究倫理、公衆衛生倫理
セッション3：医療倫理教育、医学教育
発表要旨（英文400語以内）は、2025年4月30日までに、「提出フォーム」に必要事項を記入の上、国際大会担当（farie3@ncnp.go.jp）まで提出のこと。その際、発表題目、著者名、所属、キーワード（5語以内）、連絡先（E-mailアドレス）を明記すること。複数の著者がいる場合は、誰が発表するかを明記してください。
また、参加を希望するセッションの番号を選択してください（上記1〜3のいずれか）。発表セッションが該当しない場合は、「その他」を選択し、実行委員会でセッションを決定します。
B: シンポジウム
シンポジウムに割り当てられる時間は100分。セッション内の時間配分は提案者が決定する。提案者は日本医学哲学・倫理学会の会員であること。また、講演者の半数以上が当学会会員であること。提案者はセッションの議長を務めることが期待されるが、講演者である必要はない。
英文800語以内のアブストラクトを、2025年4月30日までに、「提出フォーム」に必要事項を記入の上、国際大会担当（farie3@ncnp.go.jp）まで提出してください。その際、シンポジウムのタイトル、提案者と講演者の氏名、所属、キーワード（5語以内）、提案者の連絡先（E-mailアドレス）を明記すること。
オーガナイザーがアブストラクトを受理すると、提出者に受領通知がEメールで送られます。
組織委員会はアブストラクトを評価し、採択された場合は、2024年5月15日までに確認のEメールをお送りします。

Call for proposals
for the Second International Conference of JAPERM

Dear colleague:
We shall convene the Second International Conference of the Japanese Association for Philosophical and Ethical Researches in Medicine (JAPERM) from the 14th to 15th of September, 2025, at Kanagawa University (Minato Mirai Campus) in Yokohama, Japan.
(Please see the end of this announcement for a tentative program of the conference.)
We are pleased to announce the Call for Proposals for the following two formats:
A: Paper Presentation
Each presentation is to consist of a 20 minute talk, followed by 5 minutes of questions and answers. Each paper presentation will be assigned to one of the following three sessions.
Session 1: End of Life Care, Medical Assistance in Dying
Session 2: Research Ethics, Public Health Ethics
Session 3: Medical Ethics Education, Medical Education
Abstracts not more than 400 words in English should be submitted to the organizing committee (farie3@ncnp.go.jp) no later than the 30st of April, 2025, by filling in the“Submission Form” below. It should include; the title of presentation, the name and affiliation of the author(s), key words (not more than 5 words), and contact information (E-mail address). If there is more than one author, please indicate who will give the presentation.
Also, please select the number of the session you wish to participate (from 1-3 above). If your presentation does not match any of the sessions, please select “others” and the organizing committee will decide which session you will be placed in.
B: Symposium
The time allotted for a symposium is 100 minutes. The time allocation within the session will be determined by the proposers. The Proposer must be a member of JAPERM. Also, at least half of the speakers must be members of the association. The proposer is expected to chair the session, but does not need to be a speaker.
Abstracts not more than 800 words in English should be submitted to the organizing committee (farie3@ncnp.go.jp)no later than the 30st of April, 2025, by filling in the“Submission Form” below. It should include; the title of symposium, the names and affiliations of the proposer and speakers, key words (not more than 5 words), and contact information (E-mail address) of the proposer.
When abstracts are received by the organizing committee, submitters will get an acknowledging receipt by e-mail.
The organizing committee will evaluate the abstracts, and if your abstract is accepted, an e-mail of confirmation will be sent you no later than the 15th of May, 2024.
Slide projectors will be available for use at the conference.
